It's not perfect. When you first open the box an unpleasant aroma comes out. Fortunately that's not what the soup tastes like. I need to pepper it but otherwise it's pretty decent heated straight from the box. It's no match for making it myself from scratch but sometimes I just want a quick bowl of soup. It's enough to share with one person if two quite small helpings is okay.Good-tasting, not as thick as I'd like, but close to my Mom's. And that's saying a lot!This soup is outstanding. The flavor is both intense and subtle. The taste is very satisfying. Pea soup at its best!This was liked.this soup is great because you can doctor it up with other things, like smoked turkey lunch meat. And when you add the sodium from the lunch meat, the soup is not overly salty because it BEGAN as a low sodium product.
