I use this as a supplemental food for my discus. I would highly recommend it for a high protein, fast growth food. My discus about jump out of the tank to get to it. I use a combination of FD Worms, Brine Shrimp, Color Flakes and beef heart. My fish are in premium health and their colors are amazing.I fed these to my baby red eared slider, they absorb water quickly making them very easy for Douglas to eat and he apparently loved the flavor because he would gobble them down as fast as I could drop them in!Didn’t get enough of it.Our discus love this product! I can barely get it in the tank without them pecking my fingers :)Not a one of my fish would touch it. Maybe I have fish snobs. I had to fish it out after 2 days of it floating around. I have discus, plecos, and mollies...My array of fish are not impressed, even when I break it up. And my Oscar eats about anything. I think even after soaking for hours it remains too stiff, kind of sponge like solid form. Broken up, same.My Discus liked it but some batches of this food contain contaminates and killed several of my discus.I suspect there may be micro bone fragments in the food. Then when Discus eat it they can’t digest it.The affects fish swim around crazy very fast banging into the glass. To save them increase water temp to 93 degrees for 3 days to Increase digestion. Since I stopped this food I have not had any problem. Don’t buy this stuff.I have had Discus for many years and never lost any until I started using thiss.Fish love it
