I had been looking for a quality and sturdy set of tables with a stand. It exceeded my expectations. The wood finish is a described and is easy to keep clean.Sturdy, beautiful, very happy with them!Heavy and well built. Looks classy, not cheap.With new leather couches in the living room, it was time to return to TV trays (haven't used them in a few decades).These look good. They serve the purpose well but the table tops are smaller than I remember having (those vintage ones were metal - larger and actually lighter weight).However, they are not the sturdiest I've used of late. The stand itself had to be glued together at the base so that it would stop rocking back and forth whenever you took trays off or put them on. I don't know of a way to make the trays any more stable so we just have to be extra careful.As I said, they do look good and work well enough.I love these tables trays. They are beautiful and so easy to carry. I love them so much that I ordered another set.Really wish these locked in place. If I didn’t have two wrecking balls of dogs I’d probably like them more. Overall nice looking and worth the purchase.I've had tray tables but they were light weight, these are hefty. It's hard to move all four of them hung on their rack but individually they very manageable and sturdy. I love the cut out on the top of the tray that gives you a handle to lift and carry them. the color is rich and beautiful and I'm very happy with my purchase.They arrived with one broke. Instead of sending back we fixed it, in the few months since I bought them another has broken and needs repaired. The legs Also like to stick and jam when collaping the tray.While these tables look nice the quality is a bit disappointing. Firstly, the holder is easy to assemble however not very sturdy. I have had to re-tighten several times. I am now trying thread sealant to see if that will help. The finish on the tables also marks up easily. There are marks on the edge of the table just from sitting in the cradle of the holder. I think before long I will have to refinish with a more durable product. Nice looking but not great quality.These new tables are terrific. Not only are they a gorgeous walnut colour, but they have a handle on the top of each table which makes them easy to set up or fold down quickly. They have quite a large surface area. Plenty large enough to eat on or set up your laptop. They are sturdy and easy to assemble. I'm extremely happy with my choice as I looked at several sets before buying. And of course, they have a rack where you can fold them up and leave them when you want to make more room.These tables came with split trays (right down the middle) and split connectors. We can’t use two of them they have so much wrong with them. The other two are questionable as well but at least they stay upright. The finishing is awful. There are areas missing the colour that was sprayed or painted on. I did expect better as Amazon carried them but no such luck. These tables are JUNK!!!!!Is as the picture. No way to stop them from folding up when moved. Had to ji my a solution, then ok.This is an addition to my previous review.thses tables are turning out to be junk. The pictures I’ve added show this table splitting across the tray top. I had this table stored on the tray holder. Went to use it and the one leg was completely broken through the screw. Hadn’t even used it yet. Glued it,but now can’t fold it. VERY disappointed.Nice colour, smooth shiny surface, and they have decent sturdiness. I do like that it comes with a rack to store them, and I like that each table has a handle for carrying (as well as the storage rack, it has a handle, too.) Do hold on to the storage rack handle when loading and unloading the tables as it started to topple over when I was removing a table from one side (but I was also just getting used to removing tables and kinda bumped it upward so the opposite side tipped, I caught it in time.) Maybe this will be even more apparent (topple) if you are on softer carpet.Anyway, my problem:1. The paint job was incomplete - inside two of the handles, the table top handles (the original wood was exposed) and one corner/edge of one table, it was a lighter shade in comparison to the other three tables (like not enough coats of paint were done.)2. One table has a small crack on the surface.I took a discount on the item instead of sending it back and risking the same thing on an exchange. The tables are still useable, it’s just that it is not fair that I pay full price for something that was technically unfinished, so I asked for a discount or I would refund it.I paid $156 CAD incl. taxes and shipping ($0.00). I took a $40 discount.The tables come assembled out of the box, it’s just the rack that you need to assemble. All tools were provided. I do like that the rack has a carrying handle. This let’s you move all tables at once.I did read reviews about the tables arriving cracked or damaged, but these tables seem to arrive okay.
