The buffet, or hopper behind the clear acrylic face can accommodate a fair amount of in-shell peanuts. Fruit or other treats can be placed in the cut-out area between the cups on the base. Each cup will hold approximately 4oz of water. If the squirrels have another water source nearby, you can also place nuts, fruit or vegetables in these cups.
